During my long, corporate career, the aspect I enjoyed the most (by far) was helping aspiring leaders reach their full potential.  I came to learn that coaching and mentoring others had long-lasting effects that exceeded any quarterly financial or sales quota goal imaginable.   So when my own career path had a fork in the road, I decided to focus my attention on giving back and investing my time and energy in the meaningful and lasting development of others.

I believe that…..

  • The key to a fulfilling life is making sure the three-legged stool (the legs being personal, professional and community) are always in balance.

  • Your strengths are your most strategic asset. Invest in them to accent your development areas.

  • Life is a journey filled with extremes --- some expected but many, many unexpected. The extremes you have -- death of friends and family, job loss, birth of a child, promotions, and so on --- make up a set of experiences totally unique and of limitless benefit to you!

  • You are a prisoner of your own brain and perceptions. Gaining perspective and being exposed to a wider range of experiences will help you break out of prison.

  • “Regret” is the most powerful word in your life that will hold you back. Finding ways to reconcile your regrets and calling on others’ advice will help you unlock a brilliant future.

  • Emotional highs and lows are a fact of life. How you engage, verbalize and share those emotions with the advisors in your life can help you gain clarity on the role they play in the decision making process.

What to expect when you work with me

Deep self assessment and reflection.

I insist that you invest the time and energy to really think about what you are seeking, what your wants and needs are, and what will make you fulfilled.

Goal setting.

No one can make change happen without an intentional, well-thought through plan of how to get there.

Accountability.

I follow up with you.  I hold you accountable to your goals.  I insist on regular progress updates.  If you’re struggling to make progress,  then together, we get to the root cause of why.

Honest, authentic engagement.

I am very straightforward in conversation, not scared to ask tough questions, and enormously genuine in my desire and the role I play in helping you succeed professionally and personally.
